Ellie is an angler (that’s fisherperson to the lay people) in the making. Right now she is going for catch-and-release, but she’s waiting for that trophy.
In her crib, or somewhere else, she will repeatedly throw her toy on the floor knowing full well that Mom will retrieve it for her and return it. She has some lures (that’s artificial bait for the lay people) that she really likes to use. They’re not Rapala, but they get the job done. The other day it was her rattle. And sure enough Mom could not resist those pretty colors and bit the lure. Ellie, knowing what she’s doing, had the biggest smile on her face.
I knew it would happen, my little girl loves to fish.
