Dining Habits

May 26th, 2010

It’s not so much that what Miss Mouse eats is unhealthy. It’s just that it’s nontraditional. Josh and I are largely “meat and potatoes” people. Mouse isn’t.

Take last night’s dinner. Josh and I had a lovely rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes and broccoli. Miss Mouse had craisins, a big helping of green grapes, and some Ritz crackers.

I offered her our dinner — I mean, what’s not to love? I carefully made her a plate with a few morsels of chicken and some broccoli spears. She screamed like I was trying to feed her rat poison.

So I gave her the grapes and craisins. It’s a pretty healthy dinner, all things considered, just not what I would call “normal!”
