Piles of Plush

October 24th, 2010

I’m not entirely sure how it happened, but at some point while my back was turned, Miss Mouse has acquired a truly impressive array of stuffed animals. There’s George & Floppy — a monkey and rabbit, respectively — who sleep with her. There’s Penguin, Sheep, Sheep (yes a different one, same name), Lamb, Alice the Bear, Kelsey the Mountain Lion, an assortment of bats (from my aunt — I’ll tell you the story some day).

And let’s not forget Bumblebee. Oh, and Jack Rabbit, Ranger Rick, two Tiggers, a Wild Thing…

…you get the picture.

One of Miss Mouse’s favorite things to do with her stuffed animal collection these days is to pile them onto anything and anyone that will let her. She stacks them in Little Bear’s swing. In her stroller. In piles on her blankets on the floor…

On the (patient and long-suffering) dog…

On her (patient and long-suffering) brother…

(Yes, he’s under there somewhere, minding his own business and trying to enjoy his dinner.)

Go ahead – admit it – hard as it may be for you to acknowledge… I am NOT the one responsible for this wealth of plush. (And no, you can't count the bats!)

STUFF ON MY BROTHER! I'm not sure it's a website yet, but it probably will be soon…
