Snapshot of a Three-Month-Old Bear
December 31st, 2010
In the midst of the holiday mayhem, Little Bear celebrated his three-month birthday. In the interest of full disclosure, I must confess that this picture was actually taken on the 24th because I forgot on the 23rd. Oh, the trials of being the second-born.
My little man is doing great. He’s nursing like a pro and had no trouble also picking up bottle feedings for school. Like his sister, he’s a fan of an early bedtime (hallelujah) and sleeps pretty well. He goes down between 6:30 and 7:30 most nights, sleeps eight hours or so, wakes for a quick boob snack, then goes back down for several more hours. It times out so that I’m usually up with him once in the night, and never more than twice.
I’m starting to suspect that his eyes are going to stay blue, like his daddy’s. I’m thrilled.
Little Bear is a silly wee creature, fond of making funny faces, playing with brightly colored toys, and Naked Baby Time. And reindeer antlers, obviously. When several of these passions can be combined, it’s the best of all worlds.
