The great thing about attempting to lose weight during the summer is the abundance of fresh produce. This was the centerpiece of our dinner last night.

For the kids, I added grilled cheese sandwiches. Josh and I just munched on the fruit, as we’d had a hefty lunch at a post-church picnic potluck. The four of us sat outside on a blanket after our big hike, gnawing on cantaloupe and throwing grapes at each other.
I had to strip my son down to his skivvies before I let him back in the house, since he was covered from head to toe in watermelon juice, but that’s a small price to pay!
