Look Out Kentucky…

March 1st, 2012

…’cause here we come!

UK — All the Way!

When I moved to Pittsburgh for grad school, I planned to stay for two years.  One degree, a husband, a dog, two kids, and eight years later I’m finally moving on.  Josh has accepted a call to serve a church in Kentucky, about 45 minutes outside Lexington.  We’ll be hitching the wagons and moving out mid-May.

On the whole, we’re all thrilled about the move.  Josh grew up in Kentucky and considers it home.  He’s been asking me for years (YEARS) to please let him move back.  I fell in love with the congregation and its people as soon as we received their profile.  And Miss Mouse thinks we’re going to own horses.

I know it will be hard to leave behind friends I adore, a job I love, and a daycare that is second to none, but we’re ready for this next chapter of our lives.  Stay tuned!

OK – so how did you get Riley in that shirt? Didn't he object? I mean, after all, he is a Steeler dog.
