Why I Keep Pumpkin Scones in the Freezer

Last week, I made plans with a friend from church to have coffee one evening after the kids were in bed. As (mis)chance would have it, Josh had a meeting come up and I needed to stay home and guard the baby monitors. (And the babies.) Alas!
But wait! I keep a bag of pumpkin scones in my freezer. The day is saved!
I whipped out some scones, defrosted them in the microwave, and drizzled them with icing. I dug out my fancy schmancy tea cups and matching plates, rustled up a tea assortment, and voila — tea for two in no time flat.
